Creating a new Schedule

When you double-click the TValue icon from your desktop to start TValue, a new schedule is created automatically for you. If you have the Guide Screen displayed, you can choose a guide to setup the new schedule more specifically or click the Home tab to begin editing the new schedule immediately. If the Guide Screen is not displayed, the new schedule is displayed and is ready for editing. The new schedule is named Schedule1 until you choose to save it under another name.

3 ways to create a new schedule:

  1. From the File tab's menu, choose New.
  2. Click the New Blank Document button on the Quick Access Toolbar (top left of the TValue program window).
  3. Press [Ctrl]+[N].

TValue opens a new schedule window over the existing window(s). It names the window Schedule#, where # is the number of windows you’ve opened since starting the current session of TValue. You can change the name when you save the schedule.

The window containing the newly created schedule becomes the active window. You can select another open window by clicking any visible part of it or by selecting it from the list displayed after clicking on the Switch Window button located in the upper right of the TValue program window.

The new schedule has default input and compute settings. If the defaults don’t suit your needs, you can change them to match your preferences by choosing Options from the File tab's menu.
