Amortization Schedule Report Ribbon

The Amortization Schedule Report ribbon indicates which report items are included on the amortization schedule. This applies to amortization schedules that already exist or are created during the current TValue session. You can change these settings and save them as the defaults for new schedules by using the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon's Defaults >> Save menu button.

To change the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon options

  1. Choose the appropriate options using the checkboxes on the ribbon. The function of each button and checkbox is described below.
  2. The settings that appear on the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon are the current default settings.  

    Tip: To save any changes to the options for all schedules, select the Defaults >> Save menu button.

The Reset option from the Defaults menu button can be used to reset all the settings on the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon back to the factory defaults.

The settings on the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon:

Include Options group

Date Places the system date at the top of the amortization schedule.

Time Places the current time at the top of the amortization schedule.

Label Prints the text from the Label field at the top of the Amortization Schedule. If you add a Header to a schedule, the Label will print below the Header.

Compounding / Interval Includes the compound period on the first page of the report.

Rounding Shows any Rounding on the amortization schedule.  Position is dependent on the Report Format's Layout.

Combine Events Groups like Event types.  If you are using custom Event Names, select this option to combine the user events into two columns on the amortization schedule. If this option is not selected, the user events that are used in the cash flow matrix will be displayed in individual columns on the amortization schedule.

Memo Includes the Memo fields on the amortization schedule.

Include Totals group

Totals Only Includes only the selected Totals on the schedule. The individual details of Loans, Payments, and other Events will not be included on the report when this option is selected.

Monthly Totals Includes Monthly Totals on the amortization schedule.

Quarterly Totals Includes Quarterly Totals on the amortization schedule.

Annual Totals Includes Annual Totals on the amortization schedule.

Note: You can change the fiscal year-end month to change the Annual Total breaks. For example, a March fiscal year-end will show the Annual Totals after the March activity. Use the Fiscal Year menu button from the Settings group to change the fiscal year-end month.

Grand Totals Includes Grand Totals on the amortization schedule.

Include Rates group

Nominal Includes the Nominal Annual Rate on the first page of the amortization schedule.

Effective Includes the Effective Annual Rate on the first page of the amortization schedule.

Periodic Includes the Periodic Rate on the first page of the amortization schedule.

Daily Includes the Daily Rate on the first page of the amortization schedule.

Rate Changes Includes the Rate Change Events on the amortization schedule.

APR Controls whether an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) summary is printed on the report. If selected, the summary prints at the end of the schedule on a separate page. If an open balance occurs on the TValue schedule, "Undefined" will appear in the APR field on the report. Learn about APR.

Settings group / Settings menu button

Report Format Provides three useful tools - Layout, Header/Footer, and Fonts - for adjusting the schedule.

Fiscal Year Display Totals based on a different fiscal year-end.

Report Range Specify the range of dates that you want displayed and printed on the schedule.

Export Schedule group

Export to a file Choose an export option for the schedule.

Defaults group

Close group

Close Schedule Closes the schedule.
