You can save the amortization schedule from TValue as a file that you can then edit in a word processor or spreadsheet program like Word or Excel.
If you want to use the data from the TValue 6 amortization schedule, you need to export to CSV (comma-separated values).
Note: An exported amortization schedule cannot be read by TValue. Before proceeding with these steps, you may want to save the schedule using the Save or Save As commands on the File tab's menu. This ensures that you have a copy of the file in a TValue format should you need to edit it in TValue.
To export an amortization schedule to a file
- Display an amortization schedule.
- On the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon, choose one of the export options from the Export Schedule group. TValue allows export to PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, and XML.
- Regardless of the file type, the amortization schedule and all information entered on the main screen, including Special Series and Points & Fees information, will be converted into that format.
- TValue will automatically attempt to open the file type. If no application is registered to handle your file type, TValue will present a Save As dialog. This means that you do not need Acrobat, Excel, or Word to create these document types. However, reading these document types will require a 3rd party program registered to handle the file type.
- Once the file opens in the chosen format, you can save and print it as needed.
Note: The export feature is not compatible with versions prior to Excel 97 or Word 97. However, you still have the option to save the Amortization Schedule as a CSV file that you can edit with your application.
