You can display a totals summary of your cash flow. These totals include Loans, Payments, Deposits, Withdrawals, and Interest. If a Rounding Amount has been left as an Open Balance, the Totals dialog will display the amount of the Open Balance.
If the schedule you are working on contains loan charges for Annual Percentage Rate (APR) calculations, TValue can generate the totals summary you need for truth-in-lending requirements. Commonly called a Reg Z disclosure, this summary is seen on the amortization schedule if you have APR selected on the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon's Include Rates group.
To display a totals summary
- From the Home ribbon's Summarize group, click the Totals button. The Totals dialog will appear.
Notes:
- The Totals summary requires that Unknowns be calculated and rounding handled. This may produce an interim Rounding dialog.
- The Totals summary will display User Event Names if you have used them on the schedule. If you want to summarize the User Event Totals into User Loan/Payment or User Deposit/Withdrawal categories only, you can do so from the Amortization Schedule Report ribbon by checking the Combine Events checkbox in the Include Options group.
- Choose Copy to place the Totals information on the clipboard. Choose OK to close the Totals dialog.
